Langguth's in dentistry
Dr Langguth's son, Devin is in his fourth year at the Baltimore College of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland. He is finally seeing patients having finished his pre clinical studies and is striving to finish his requirements. His wife Julie is a practicing orthodontist in Annapolis, where they live, and in Washington DC. Kirsten, Dr Langguth's daughter, is practicing dentistry in Minnetonka and lives in Chaska with her four children. This past summer Kirsten got her father and sister to participate in their first triathlon. Stacy Langguth still resists the dental field and continues at Lake Superior College working in student affairs, is also a student there, and the mother of two boys.
Congratulations Dr Langguth
Dr Langguth was recognized by the St Louis County Board of Commissioners at their board meeting for his service to the community as a volunteer and his willingness to treat patients that are on state and county programs that have difficulty finding a dentist. Dr Langguth and his office staff: Sue, Linda, and Lori, have been providers of care for young people at Northwoods Children's Home and Woodland Hills, along with some of the homes for vulnerable adults. He, along with other dentists received plaques at the board meeting.

Climbing Mt Rainier
Dr Langguth and his daughter Kirsten went to Washington state to attempt to climb Mt Rainier in June '05 as a celebration for Kirsten's graduation. Month's aoaf training and planning ended up at 11,000 feet, on the 14,000 foot peak, being turned back in a blizzard. Although the goal of reaching the top was not reached they highly value the expierience and enjoyed parts of it. There is some talk of returning.
